Jason Tang graduated from Stanford University with a master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering (with a focus on environmental fluid mechanics and hydrology) in 2016. He obtained a dual bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Hunan University and Colorado State University in Fort Collins, USA. Jason had internship experiences at various engineering consulting companies, such as AECOM and CH2M. Currently, he is a civil engineer at AECOM Bay Area office and responsible for water infrastructure projects. AECOM is ranked as Number 1 Global Design Firm on Engineering News-Record and is number 156 on the 2016 Fortune 500 list.
Jason loves to travel. Each trip is a unique opportunity to learn new thoughts or ideas. Food, culture, and nature are key aspects of traveling that he especially enjoys. He also likes to spend some time during each trip exploring infrastructure projects such as the Hoover Dam, the railway system in the UK, and the south-north water transfer project in China. In his free time, he enjoys painting, cooking, playing tennis and badminton, and photography.
